Home

“Home is neither here nor there. Home is within you, or home is nowhere at all.” This quote by Hermann Hesse was an inspiration for me 10 years ago to create the fashion collection “Home.” After 10 years, there were big changes, and we are still here, still telling you about “Home.” The whole working process felt like I was returning back to explore something new. There were lots of questions; I tried to find answers through different forms and materials. Are we really looking for ourselves on the road leading to home? Is this road the same road that leads us to a better understanding of ourselves and finding harmony? Our new collection will tell you about our journey exploring home, harmony, and self-exploration. We tried to use different forms and shapes that best symbolize these themes: the woman as a snail carrying her home with her; clocks; a human who can be the sun for someone at the same time; and the house which is not always a home. Also, a sand effect is used on the surface of the objects as a symbol that the beach is a temporary stand for the sand, and home is also a temporary stand for us—or maybe it’s really within us, and maybe we should just discover it?
